Walk or Run and Help Grant Wishes
The Make-A-Wish Foundation's Walk for Wishes is March 13, 2010

Join the Arizona Diamondbacks and GoDaddy.com at the 6th Annual Walk for Wishes, Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Kiwanis Park in Tempe.  Registration and pancakes begin at 7:00 a.m. and the run kicks off at 8:30 a.m.

Individuals and teams are encouraged to register.  Registration is $30 - 35 for the 5K and $20 for the 1-mile family fun run.  Each participant who registers will receive a Walk for Wishes T-shirt, a goodie bag and one raffle ticket.  Registered participants will also receive a Diamondbacks ticket to be redeemed online at the Make-A-Wish game in April 2010.

Over 1000 runners and walkers are anticipated for this event!

A mascot Olympics including Baxter the Bobcat from the Arizona Diamondbacks will take place after the big event, and local catering business Put A Fork in It! will be serving participants pancakes. You'll also enjoy music by Rock Boot Camp, face painting bouncy houses, clowns, a DJ and much more.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.  The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona grants more than 250 wishes annually with an average cost of $7500 to fulfill a wish.  For more information, visit www.wishaz.org and discover how you can "share the power of a wish."
