The Art of Fundraising: Benefiting Desert Foothills Land Trust
Purchase a Kenneth M. Freeman (Legacy) or Sharon Brening Print and Support the Desert Foothills Land Trust
The Sonoran Desert is a precious resource. Western artists like Sharon Brening and the late Kenneth M. Freeman captured the spirit of the American West and the deserts of Arizona are prominently featured in many of their master paintings. Brening is passionate about preserving and protecting our desert landscapes for future generations, as was Freeman. So when the opportunity arose to support the Desert Foothills Land Trust through the sales of two limited editions, both Brening and curator Bonnie Adams-Freeman of the Kenneth M. Freeman Legacy, leaped at the chance to give back to the community. For more information about the Desert Foothills Land Trust, visit
www.dflt.org. For more information about the artists or to purchase a print, go to Kenneth M. Freeman's website at
www.shop.KennethMFreeman.com or Sharon Brening's website at
www.sbrening.com. Your purchase helps protect and preserve our Sonoran Desert for future generations.
Since 1991, the Land Trust has protected more than 600 acres of land on 16 preserves, including critical riparian areas, archaeological sites, habitat for rare plants and animals and important recreational areas. Many of these preserves are open to the public for exploration and passive recreation. Desert Foothills Land Trust is the local land trust serving Carefree, Cave Creek, North Phoenix, Anthem, Far North Scottsdale, and other North Valley communities, and is actively working to protect other important landscapes in our communities.
