MJ: Why Not?
Bick: Time to Fly

Good, Bad and the Ugly
Monday 10-13-2008 1:02pm MT
Week Six of the NFL season featured a Huge victory by the Cardinals in Glendale and fove other thrilling finishes....and some blowouts...

Good:
The Arizona Cardinals currently sit alone atop the NFC West after a thrilling OT win over the Cowboys.
It opened with a kickoff return for a TD and finished with the first ever game-ending OT blocked punt TD!  In between, we saw some really ugly stuff: A Cards player about 50 yards offsides, a Cards blocked FG negated by a TO called to "ice" the kicker, Tony Romo getting a lucky bounce on a funble and the Cards misplaying ay pooch kickoff....sheesh.

Here's the column Bickley wrote in the Arizona Republic
Here's the final box score from NFL.com

Bad:
Carson Palmer, Chad Ocho Cinco and the Bengals can't manage to get the offense into the end zone in thier 17-10 loss in Baltimore to rookie QB Joe Flacco and the Ravens.  The lone Bungles TD came from their defense.

Ugly:
The Seahawks passing "attack" - 64 net yards passing....ouch.
Panthers, Raiders and Ravens - At least they didn't get shut out!  (all three got blown out and only registered a FG)

And...
Stupid:
Dan Orlovsky of the Lions apparently thought the big white line was part of the end zone design in Minnesota as he ran out of bounds for a safety...
