Chad R. Thibodeaux

Age:
31

College:
Circleville College, Ohio for my BA, and University of Phoenix for my Masters

Status:
I am currently the 2nd most eligible bachelor at XTRA behind the infamous Michael Kossett

Career record (How long in radio and at XTRA):
Started hosting Kids and Sports on XTRA in February of 2002….so 4 years

Highlight of your career:
Interviewing Jerry Colangelo and Joe Garagiola

Favorite movie:
I’ve always wanted to be the President, but since my childhood dreams have been bashed, I just like Presidential movies….Air Force One, The American President…and of course anything with Rachel McAdams in it.

What would be in your I-pod right now?:
Probably Harry Connick Jr., Jazz, or the 1992 version of “Rip City”, a song the Blazers wrote that year.

Most memorable sports moment:
Wow…I always cheer for teams that get their hearts broken, so January 1996, Colts vs. Steelers, when Harbaugh threw a 50 yard pass that was dropped by Aaron Bailey in the end zone.  Of course if he catches it, the Colts come to Phoenix for the Super Bowl.  Being a Blazer fan, who can ever forget the infamous 14 point lead blown in game 7 of the Western Conference Finals in 2000.  Did anyone see the 2006 AFC playoff game between the Colts and the Steelers?  Oh, I hate Pittsburgh.

If you could wish it...what professional sport would you play?:
It would have to be basketball.  Growing up in a town where Larry Bird went to college, and being mentored by a NBA basketball player, I’ve always dreamt of playing in the NBA…of course, look at me…I don’t stand a chance.  I do have another dream though…being an announcer in the NBA…will Al McCoy please retire!

Your greatest accomplishment in life?:
I hope my greatest accomplishments are in the future, but starting my own business and having it be successful.  Learning several musical instruments is another one.

Most embarrassing moment?:
Being de-pantsed at a basketball game my freshman year…I was a late bloomer!

Do you think your significant other could do your job, and could you do theirs?:
Every significant other I have had is typically in some analytical position so NO, I couldn’t do their job…and chances are they could do my job better.
